We will be showing the Teal Camper to the public for the first time at the Denver RV, Sports, Boat & Travel Show, March 4-7 at the National Western Complex. We will have a 10' x 10' booth with pictures, and information.
Since the Teal Camper isn't yet available for sale, our purpose at the show is to get people's reaction to the modular concept and as much input concerning design and application as possible.
We want to talk with as many people as possible who have an interest in small travel trailers to make sure we have all our ducks in a row before we go into production.
Today is the first day of the Denver RV, Sports, Boat & Travel Show and the first public showing of the Teal Camper. The Teal Camper has had a great reception among friends and family, but today we will get a "real world" reaction to this new concept in campers.
Product introductions are both exciting and tense. We think we have a great solution to the challenge of small travel trailer camping. Today we will find out if others think so too.
The first day of the show (Thursday) was pretty light. Traffic was very slow, but we did talk to a number of people. Response was very positive. Some comments:
"What will they think of next?" "Very clever." "This could solve our problem." "You mean it just snaps together" (well, it does take a screwdriver) "Where can I buy one?" "Look at that, it fits on a utility trailer."
Today (Friday) should be better. Saturday and Sunday will be the big days.
Friday and Saturday at the Denver RV show was absolutely great! We talked almost non-stop. People were very interested in the Teal Camper. We could have sold a dozen if we had them in production.
A lot of people complimented us on the camper and many said it was the most unique thing they had seen at the show.
We asked people to fill out a Quick Survey to help us get an idea of how people felt about the Teal Camper. We will publish the results here early next week.
